REPORT
During the concept phase we created a concept for the brand extension of Opinel. In the design phase we visualised this concept into a collection plan. With texts and images we showed how our
collection, called Nr. 14, was going to look like. Besides this we each made three designs. To visualize our designs we learned to work with the programme Illustrator, so we could make correct technical drawings.
Putting a collection together was very interesting to do. Finding the right balance between innovation, creativity and the fact that it had to sell. As a manager you shouldn’t be blind to this last aspect.

The financial plan gave us the opportunity to translate the collection into a real business. Together we had to find out how the financial side of our brand extension was going to look like. A total different and for us new side of the fashion industry, but just as important. It was very interesting to finally put all of my economic classes from high school into practise, which was
informative to me.
